At a glance
| Review point | What to check |
|---|---|
| Agreed use | Confirm permission for animation, the joke, its audience and sharing; permission to keep a photo alone may not cover those uses. |
| Unnecessary details | Inspect bystanders, addresses, documents and other identifying details beyond the main face, and remove unrelated information before upload where appropriate. |
| Private access | Personal uploads are not automatically public samples. Open work through your account and avoid forwarding private access links. |
| Result and consent | Review invented expressions or behavior with the photographed person where agreed, explain the AI interpretation and respect a request not to share. |
| Storage and deletion | Use the Privacy Policy, current account controls or support with the work ID; deleting a downloaded copy does not delete the server-side record. |
Ask what use was agreed
Permission to keep a photograph is not necessarily permission to animate or publicly post it. Agree on the joke, the intended audience and whether the final video may be shared. Use your own image when that agreement is unclear.
Inspect the entire image
Look beyond the main face for bystanders, addresses, documents and identifying details. Crop unnecessary information before upload when appropriate. A natural portrait can still reveal personal context that has nothing to do with the effect.
Separate private work from public samples
Personal uploads are not automatically published as website examples. Open your work through your own account and avoid forwarding private access links. A public reference clip has its own source and should not be mistaken for another user’s private work.
Review the result before sharing
Generated footage may suggest an expression or behavior the photographed person never performed. Show them the result where consent requires it and use a caption that makes the AI interpretation clear. Respect a request not to share an unflattering result.
Use the documented account tools
Check the Privacy Policy and current account controls for storage and deletion options. Contact support with the work identifier if you need help. Do not assume that removing a locally downloaded copy also removes a server-side work record.
Questions about this guide
Not always. Agree on the animation, joke and intended audience separately. If that use is unclear, use your own photo instead.
